What is a biodistrict

It is a territorial production system that brings together farmers, producers, public administrations, and citizens for sustainable and shared development. Based on organic farming, livestock, and processing, it safeguards traditional products, preserves biodiversity and natural heritage, while also promoting the responsible use of renewable energy and the historical identity of the territory.

It is not merely an agricultural model, but a concrete opportunity for growth: it opens new markets, strengthens local supply chains, and fosters collaboration across different sectors. Productions gain value, innovation thrives, and new businesses—especially youth-led ones—emerge, making the territory more attractive, competitive, and sustainable.

Journey Among the Olive Trees

Oleotourism combines the pleasure of taste with the discovery of the land through extra virgin olive oil. It is not only about visiting mills or olive groves, but a true cultural and sensory journey: from learning about cultivation and harvesting techniques, to guided tastings of oils, and finally meeting the producers who safeguard ancient knowledge and traditions.

Discover local producers and contact them to enjoy an authentic experience that blends culture, flavor, and landscape, while enhancing sustainability and the identity of the territory.

Colli etruschi della città di Vulci

We are delighted to welcome you to our historic olive grove and family farm in Montalto di Castro, just a short distance from the archaeological site of Vulci.

Join us on a journey of culture and taste: discover our olive-growing traditions, learn the secrets of our organic extra virgin olive oil – a Slow Food Presidia – and enjoy a guided tasting that reveals the distinctiveness and uniqueness of our product, born from an olive grove planted in the early 1900s.

This rare and precious heritage is a true testament to  italian agricultural history, and today such olive groves can only be found in a few parts of the country.

Harmonies of the Biodistrict

There’s a song that rises like the earth after the rain: natural, alive, authentic. It’s the CanzoneBio — a way of making music that returns to the roots, where every note is born from listening and every word carries the scent of humanity. It doesn’t seek stages or spotlights, but shared spaces: squares, libraries, moments of breath together. Here, music doesn’t entertain — it creates bonds and turns listening into participation.

The CanzoneBio sows sustainable emotions, like a biodistrict with its fruits. Every sound respects the rhythm of life, preserving balance and care. It’s a song that regenerates instead of consuming, weaving together communities, landscapes, and people in an echo of shared beauty — where true abundance is born from simplicity.
