Our company was founded in 1922 in the Modenese Apennines thanks to the work and dedication of Pio Manfredini who built the first rational hives with movable honeycomb: in this way the precious honey could be collected without killing the bees, he was a true pioneer in this field: he was one of the first to practice nomadism in beekeeping for the production of the finest honeys and one of the first to start breeding queen bees and collecting royal jelly.
The passion for beekeeping was transmitted to the children and grandchildren who still continue the activity of their grandfather and father with passion and energy, since 1994 Manfredini s.s. Beekeeping is present in Umbria in Castel Viscardo (TR) and its genuine products represent the typicality of the territories in which our hives are located.
