The olive orchard has an extension of about 2 hectares, consists of 300 trees and is located on the municipality of Montalto di Castro; it is not transplanted but was obtained from a Mediterranean bush. In fact, the plants are not in rows but are distributed in a disorderly manner on a hill.

"In the early 1900s my grandfather, Peruzzi Salvatore, decided to deforest and conserve the wild olive trees that were wisely grafted with the Canino variety (a valuable local cultivar). For this reason this olive grove, made up of centuries-old varieties of 'Canino grafted onto the wild olive tree (Olea Europea), produces a high quality oil with a fruity flavor."
